New Orleans Museum of Art

This is a proposal for an addition in harmony with the existing Isaac Delgado Museum.  It frames the existing building and adds new wings and ramps to make an urban presence, forming a gate between the park and the old city.  

Auditoriums and restaurants on the water face the McFadden Home and the path approaching the building. Exterior sculpture courts focus on the existing corner towers, visually connecting to the great hall. The administration and educational spaces branch out from the new courtyards as well as the museum.
